Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden.     This was our first visit to Alfio’s and we were celebrating our anniversary. They had a special “Happy Anniversary” menu waiting for us, as well as complimentary Prosecco toast and dessert to top it off! The food was amazing from starters to dessert and the service was outstanding. The espresso martini was the best I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend going and can’t wait to go back!

    Inside the Holiday Inn this restaurant was a surprise. Very nice but simple decor, spacious, well lit, and comfortable seating. Decent menu choices—two in our party got the French dip with fries, one got the grilled cheese with fries and one got the Cobb salad. All were very plentiful portions and very good. Service was great. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

    I have been to Moerlein several times and have always been amazed at how great the food has been, and, of course, I love their beers, with the Barbarossa dark lager being my fav. Tonight, we went for their Veterans Day special menu. I so appreciate the great deal they offered. I had the Steak Frites, and the steak was done perfectly, was very tender and served with really crispy fries. Another great night at Moerlein.
