Best Restaurants for Groups in Ala Moana

Great service from Ally. Views and ambience were spectacular. Ocean views aplenty. Food was pretty good. Nothing inventive or spectacular, but solid. They really push their Mai Tais which were very tart with a thick and super sweet foam which reduces the size of the cocktail by a good amount. Not even close to others I’ve had in Waikiki.

WOW! 5 STARS all the way around!! From the moment we sat down and took in the amazing view to then meeting our server Sarah we knew we were in for an amazing dining experience. Everything Sarah recommended to us was delicious!! The cocktails so refreshing! The entrees mouth watering. I had the flat iron steak special and my husband had the ginger pesto catch of the day. Both entrees were cooked to perfection with the best flavors! They were DELICIOUS! Sarah was an absolute delight!! Her smile lit up the room every time she interacted with us. She provided 10 star customer service! We can’t wait to return in late February to enjoy another amazing dining experience and you bet we will be asking for Sarah!!

Merriman's Ward is definitely our first preferred spot for wino wine share get togethers. Food's fantastic and approachable and the corkage is still wino friendly compared with other places that have corkage charges set to discourage bringing special bottles to share with friends. We enjoyed a 3 hour commiseration over a bottle of Radio Silence! Servers were attentive but not intrusive--they let us do our wine share thing; very nice and appropriate wine glasses. All in all a place not to be missed. Thanks and mahalo again Merriman's Ward!!

My partner and I decided to have date night here and had great experience! Our waiter, Paige, was exceptional! Friendly, attentive, and always ensuring our water glasses were filled and dirty dishes promptly cleared. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived quickly. Every dish we tried was fantastic; the standouts were the Maine lobster linguini, Zosui rice balls, ribeye, and cereal milk panna cotta. Definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return to try even more dishes!
