Best Restaurants for Groups in Compton Bassett

We had a lovely experience. The food was outstanding - the bone marrow and pig cheeks were the standouts. The staff were lovely and the ambience was perfect. Would highly recommend.

Booked few weeks in advance. We called on the day to say we may be a little late as stuck in traffic, they were happy to hold the table. Nice, clean pub. Perfect temperature, we were shown to our table, my husband asked for another table as it was near a window and the lighting better, they were happy to accommodate. We ordered drinks first, which arrived quickly. We ordered several tapas dishes which were all very tasty. The only problem we had was one of the dishes was incorrect, when we mentioned it they apologised for the mistake and returned with the correct ordered dish. The smoking area was perfect with a real log fire, wish we lived locally as we would use this establishment every week, overall a great dining experience.

Is a lovely Gastropub near The Royal Crescent. Staff are fruendly and professional. Been there several tikes when stsying in Bath. Good choice of food but as a non garlic llover, I should have avoided the mushroom rissoto. Their fush and chips and steak are excellent. Can be a little noisy at busy times as children and dogs there but has a happy atmosphere.
