Best Restaurants for Groups in Downtown Cleveland

We celebrated our anniversary at Red because I wanted to celebrate at an upscale restaurant. I previously heard good things about the cuisine. We have lived in Cleveland all our lives and never had dinner there. So, I made reservations and let me tell you that our meals were spectacular! Our Filet Mignons were amazing. The Lobster Tail was succulent. We also enjoyed the cocktails we chose from an extensive selection. Highly recommend Red the Steakhouse.

This is the model for a great seafood restaurant… came here serendipitously two years ago not expecting anything.. was shocked a restaurant this good could be so far from an ocean. Returned today… hoping it was still great. It is. The staff greeted us warmly as if we were well-liked regulars. The atmosphere softly lit, with every table full, yet without feeling over-crowded. The menu just right… all the favorites.. with nice touches and specials… all fresh. Dessert offerings were solid… and maybe that best describes this restaurant… a solid 9 out of 10. It would hold its own in Manhattan, Miami Beach , Boston or LA.

We always try to get in here whenever we stay or come up for a sporting event downtown. The food, staff, drinks, and ambiance have remained consistently phenomenal. The menu suites the various dietary choices of our family, they are kid-friendly, and we always enjoy engaging with Nick when he visits each table, imparting words of wisdom to our children.

WOW! Amazing experience of dining. The entire night we felt like we were given such attention and guidance from the perfect appetizers to the Primi to the ensalada to the pasta and bone-in-ribeye! Wow! Dawn and the entire staff were welcoming and attentive —-we must have had six wait staff taking care of us. We felt we were in the kind of care European restaurants strive for…can’t wait to come back.

Christopher took care of us really well. Despite being arguably one of the best steak stops in Cleveland? We went for the seafood tower. Mac n cheese side and a chicken spring roll app. Food was incredible, everyone was attentive and the ambiance was superb. Honourable mention: the bananas foster desert is table made and done so beautifully. 10/10
