Best Restaurants for Groups in Deer Park

We very much enjoyed PL8 and plan to return. The food was very good, and the service was attentive. The vibe is fun and a bit eclectic. The owner engaged with us which was a nice touch. The one thing that would help is better descriptions of the ingredients and prep in each menu item so that guests have a better idea of what they’re ordering. My husband ordered a dish he frequently chooses at other Chinese restaurants, and the prep and ingredients at PL8 were much different than what he was expecting. The dish was good, but not what he’d had in mind.

My goodness was that good. Traditional dishes were perfect. More unique dishes were exquisite. The only knock was that the Caesar salad was only average at best. Everything else was absolutely top notch.

Great food and great service. Back in there for the second time in two days

We went to the Arlington Heights locations for Valentine's Day. We had a lovely wine tasting and then dinner. We were seated exactly at the time of our reservation. The food was phenomenal and our server was super sweet.

Packed on valintines day, had a reservation at 5 got sat at around 5:10. I would say pretty fast, Everyone working there was flying. Had some flowers brought to us and at every point in my meal my beverages were refilled and there wasn’t a time there wasn’t something in front of me. I had a New York something steak lol it was a little under cooked from what I asked for but who I am not to eat it. It was amazing. Nothing like being hungry getting sat immediately eating and then after immediately having a check in front of you. Idk what else you would ask for.
