Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available. The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

Welcome to Riwaz Beaconsfield.It’s long been twice-Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar's dream to champion the cuisines of India, especially the sub-cultures of Bohri, Ismaili, Moplah, Chettiars, amongst others. The menu of creatively enticing flavours and spices includes dishes created and cooked by Atul’s grandmother. Lunch will showcase our set 2 and 3 course menu plus the Jugalbandi set menu of four courses for two to share (£35pp). Great refit from old appearance as the Marlow Bar and grill, food was outstanding (had the liver) as was the rest of the meal, we visited at 2pm hence noise level was low. There are many new dishes to try and we intend to go back soon.

It was the first visit but not the last. The food was outstanding, and the service was first-class. It was a quiet Saturday due to the school holidays, so we were fortunate to have a lovely ambience. The choice of tapas was excellent, and every dish was delectable. Our favourite was the Mushroom Croquette. Beautiful views of the river and tastefully decorated inside with a lovely Christmas atmosphere
