- HHelenLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI had lunch here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We had a delicious meal, with excellent, friendly but not intrusive service and to our surprised delight my friend was brought a delicious complimentary cake on a plate with Happy Birthday written on it . Will certainly return.More infoThe Greene OakPrice: Expensive• British• Windsor•4.7
- SSarahGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025Booked a table for New Year’s Day with husband. I’m a lover of good food. Not fancy food, just good food. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was exceptional. The cook knows how to cook. I had just a simple fish and chips. This is a funny dish, sounds so basic yet easy to get wrong. The batter was light and crispy, the fish was fleshly and fresh tasting. The chips were skin on and perfect. Husband had a char grilled burger which he really liked. I highly recommend a visit. My only wish was that one of the fires had been lit but that is asking too much of staff on New Years Day. Maybe next time.More infoThe PelicanPrice: Moderate• Pub• Marlborough•3.7
- MmarkOxford/Oxfordshire •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024Our first time at the Greyhound. We both had the tasting menu which was absolutely lovely. The service is excellent, and we were looked after superbly. It was much more than a meal and more like ‘an experience’. My partner and I were amazed when we left, that we had been there for almost 4 hours. Finally, you know you’re in a place that thinks of everything when they 1. Have a presentation box with different strength reading glasses for those of us that always forget our glasses. 2. At the end of the meal, you are given a bag with 2 gift boxes with breakfast for the next day. Superb all round and we will definitely be back.More infoThe Greyhound Pub & DiningPrice: Expensive• British• Beaconsfield•4.9
- HHelenCambridge/Cambridgeshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024The food is exceptional, with a great variety of local produce and fish dishes. The selection of beers and wine is also a mix of local and worldly. We were there on a Saturday lunch time and despite there being a few large tables the service was great and the food arrived in good time.More infoThe WheatsheafPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Hungerford•4.5
