She provided very detailed descriptions of the wine, specials, and food offerings. She was attentive, but not annoying. Her enthusiasm was refreshing. She was quick to clear our table, when needed. Hannah was very personable and friendly, while remaining the consummate professional, which my husband and I truly appreciated. Our meals, from the appetizers to desserts, were phenomenal. The Chef and his team prepared and presented, in our opinion, Michelin and James Beard quality everything. While the price points are high compared to other restaurants in the Savannah area, Alligator Soul is worth it. Especially because the offerings are exotic and unique, but still “familiar.” We have dined here a few times over the years, pre-Covid. The dining experience is just as exceptional this visit as it had been in the past. We highly recommend Alligator Soul because of the Chef, the Sommalier, and Hannah, our server.More infoAlligator SoulPrice: Very Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Historic District - North•4.9
- BBetsySouth Carolina •12 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur party of three were seated in the dining area in the front, next to the bar. I think this must be ‘overflow’? It was lively, which was to expected, but there was a loud table of four birthday revelers next to us (not in the bar) who were very loud. So this is why the noise level rating is higher than normal. We ordered small salads as starters, then enjoyed shrimp and grits, filet with truffle frites and my daughter had sashimi and the mahi roll. Everyone’s meal was delicious! Our server was great too, choosing a smooth cabernet as I requested to go with the filet. It was a excellent meal out with family. Thanks.More infoSaltus River GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Beaufort•4.7
