I started with the Cullen skink, a velvety smoked haddock soup that was both comforting and rich in flavour. For the main courses, we had the seafood stew and the venison meatpie; both were excellent. For dessert, the warm orange cake was a delightful finale. It was a true taste of Scottish heritage. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable; their passion for Scottish cuisine shone through every interaction. Galician fillet steak was a game changer compared to scotch fillet steak as recommended by our waitress, fantastic cut of meat indeed!

The service was very fast with our feeling rushed, the staff were very friendly and definitely on it. The food was amazing and was definitely worth the money! I would most definitely eat here again. The venue was very beautiful and I just want to say the female toilets! I’ve never seen anything like them! As soon as you walk in you’re welcomed with a really nice floral smell and each toilet cubical has its own sink. No complaints at all!

The butchershop is an absolute gem. It's my go to place for all business meetings and birthdays but generally I like to dine here atleast once a fortnight. The foot is spectacular the steak is as good as I have ever had anywhere on gods green earth and the wine selection is delicious. The staff are superb and the portions are very filling but of the highest quality it's my favourite restaurant by a country mile. I highly recommend it and I always buy vouchers for friends who have never been before there feedback every time matches my expectations

Fabulous decor, helpful staff, food was amazing we had a few different plates to share highly recommend seafood one, cocktails are a must, prices very reasonable, perfect for girls day/night out or romantic meal for two
