Best Restaurants for Foodies in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

The service was excellent. The amount of food for the price was disappointing. For the small portions, the food was made to perfection.

This is the second time we have dined at Mastros Las Vegas, and we will continue to come here every time we visit the town. It was a 70th birthday celebration, and Adam treated us like royalty. He is also a sommelier which came in very handy! Had a great bottle of wine. They have a very large list to choose from. I had the Jumbo lobster tail, and my wife had the 8 oz Filet, along with sides and the Butter Cake for dessert. The entire service staff was awesome. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will be back!

Beauty & Essex is one of my Las Vegas favorites. The atmosphere is fun, and the music is just right as a precursor to a night out. The servers can be a little slow with cocktails, but overall service is great. Our water glasses were never empty and food was well-paced. As a group of 6, we ordered 10 different dishes and 2 sides. This is a family style / sharing type restaurant. We were hungry, but didn’t finish all the food. I would say a moderately hungry group could probably go with 6-7 dishes with 1-2 sides and be fine (assume 1/person + 1/4 of a side). The downside is most of the dishes that were the favorites, are those that only had one portion per person. In our party those were: chicken meatballs, grilled cheese dumplings, and the kale apple salad. Least favorites: French dip sliders, scallops, and the filet. Of the sides, we got French fries and broccolini- both great (get horseradish aioli with the fries if ranch is your usual go to). The drinks are good, but I didn’t see anything I found particularly creative and different from similar establishments. Beauty & Essex is great for groups due to the family style plates and atmosphere. It’s loud, so maybe not the place to have conversation with everyone at the table. However, if you need a place to eat before hitting the town Beauty & Essex has great food with an energizing ambiance.

We had a 5:30 reservation on Christmas Eve, were greeted warmly by everyone, and were seated immediately. I haven't been to Vegas in over 30 years and was surprised to see how many fine restaurants are essentially in malls and casinos. Bazaar Mar is beautifully appointed, but I will admit, it took me a while to adjust to the fact that part of my view was of a shopping mall. That being said, our experience was superb. We opted for Jose's Creative Experience at $275 a head, and feel we made an excellent choice. Our waiter John was incredibly knowledgably and enthusiastic. Hubby's cocktail was smoked table side to start our culinary journey. Where to begin? I think there were 14 courses in all. It's hard to pick a favorite, but some highlights.... The Jamón Ibérico was like butter...salty, ham flavored butter! Also LOVED the tempura red snapper, the lobster salad, and the Anchoas Don Bocarte (which was essentially toast slathered with butter and whole anchovies) The pacing was perfect, start to finish we were there for 3 fantastic hours. It was an incredibly creative, memorable meal. Even at $275 a head, we felt we got incredible value. Bravo!!!

Mark was our server and he was hands down the best server we have yet in Vegas. Super welcoming and warm to all of our requests and questions. The food was amazing, even for our kids who are picky eaters. From Margaritas & nachos, to ice cream sundaes, everyone had an amazing time at dinner.
