Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Downtown Los Angeles), LSXO is love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam (Vuong’s relatives hail from the region). While Little Sister is known for its French Vietnamese menu, LSXO follows the same Southeast Asian inspiration with a more refined feel. “There is no signage for LSXO—you can spot the entrance of it tucked into a section inside Bluegold, but you’ll have to know it’s there.     We visited in Valentines Day. The restaurant was packed people waiting everywhere. Our experience was great. Although it took more time than usual and the temperature of our food wasn’t right, our dining experience was still good. Our server was pleasant and working so hard to make everyone happy.

    My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at LSXO in Huntington Beach. The service was exceptional, and the drinks were expertly crafted.     It’s magical from the moment you walk in. As you make your way up a gorgeous staircase displaying gilded frames & Grecian statues…. The aesthetic & beautiful RH furniture is definitely a show stopper. As you make your way to the top you are greeted with sweet hostesses and wine bars on either side of you. Food is amazing! We had artichoke & burrata appetizers. So delicious! I always order a cheeseburger, it’s so good! Their salads & rotisserie chicken are yum! Finished the night with the Bananas Foster dessert, it was outstanding!!
