Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.     Lee Restaurant consistently exceeds my expectations. Every dish on the menu is a culinary delight, and I can confidently choose any item with my eyes closed, knowing it will be exceptional. The cocktails and mocktails are a journey of their own, infused with subtle Asian flavors that are truly out-of-this-world. Highly recommended! The ambience is phenomenal. Unlike other restaurants where the music is blaring like a nightclub, Lee Restaurant offers a serene environment where you can actually have a conversation with your dining companions. The service is impeccable, and our server, Gray, deserves an award for elevating the entire dining experience.

    This place did not disappoint. Excellent food, everything we had (4 people sharing) was just amazing. Service was great, some good recommendations from our server on how many dishes to share. Save room for dessert too - a small but mighty dessert menu! One small criticism was that we felt a bit rushed at the end, they had a booking after us at 9:30pm - tables of 4 have 2 hours I guess, but we weren’t seated until 7:45 for our own booking. It just felt like it brought the dinner to a very abrupt end!
