We went here for the Restaurant Week menu, which was a great sampling of many of their dishes. This Chinese food was not ordinary--it was upscale with interesting flavors blended together. It was our first time eating here, and what a hot spot!! I definitely recommend this, especially for the restaurant week brunch price.

Went in for the $60 Chicago restaurant week tasting menu and ordered the tuna, scallops, chicken, and namelaka. The complimentary bread they gave was just sad - just don’t give any if it’s gonna be that bad. Tuna was a little bit underwhelming but everything else was delicious. The Roasted chicken was my favorite. The regular tasting menu is far superior but the restaurant week menu is insane value and a great thing for the community. Ambience is incredible and the service is amazing.

Food and drinks were outstanding and the service was enjoyable. The tables are a little tight and the music was far too loud when we went (Friday at 8pm). Looking forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu.

I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but the service at il Carciofo was AMAZING, and their dedication and joy deserves to be sung. Our server was the most attentive and sweet individual who made our children (9 and 11 y.o.) feel so included and fancy (in a fun way), taking the time to explain various items on the menu and guide them through the menu. And the kitchen staff - who work in an open venue - were fast, having fun, talking to patrons, and just brought such happiness to us. I expected the restaurant to have delicious food (and it did); but the service was truly memorable.
