Best Restaurants for Foodies in Berwyn

Last night we dined at Nectar. I had been here about 20 years ago, and we got take out last year. I didn't realize how nice and large the restaurant is. Before we arrived, we were taken aback by being forced to valet park. This didn't sit well with my husband. Luckily, I convinced him to find parking elsewhere, so we could have a nice dinner. Adam was very good with providing us excellent service. In fact, another gentleman assisted him and he was great as well. We started with shrimp miso soup and tempura vegetable rolls and pork dumplings. We weren't going to eat the rolls but they were really good. Both appetizers were yummy. I took a couple of the dumplings home for another meal. Then for dinner I enjoyed a seared tuna roll and my husband had chicken lo mein and tuna roll. He wanted to try the Nectar lo mein but was afraid that the boar would be too spicy, so he went with the chicken. The lo mein was very tasty! Next time we return, we will be sure to have that. Thanks for making our dinner great.

Service was really good, but the restaurant was super cold and they said temperature was managed from Washington and couldn’t been changed. Food was good, but I think options were limited. Very similar different plates, not different options.

Seasons 52 is a great place to share with friends and colleagues. I introduced my staff to this restaurant today, and they raved about selection, and caliber of food. I made a great choice to share your establishment with them.

 Took my adult grandchildren to Autographs for lunch. They loved it with all the interesting instruments on the wall and ceiling, as well as the beautiful photos of actors, musicians and singers displayed in frames. The seating is spectacular. We were very comfortable in the booth, which was beautifully furnished in colorful decor. Efficient, friendly service and meals that were unusually interesting and delicious. We will return and thank you autographs.

Overall, it was such a wonderful experience. We had a gift card from the holiday and we have frequent Ted white dog restaurants for many many years.  The hostess seated us next to a table of 15 at 5 PM when the entire restaurant was open and empty or just about and while I understand you place people determine it upon the weight staff. It was literally right next to the group of 15 we just thought that was really odd and they were pretty boisterous. I decided to just get up and let the hostess know. We definitely needed to be seated somewhere else and we did and it was lovely. The chair that my spouse was in was a little bit old and dipped so once they moved that with a new chair everything was great with the table.! The waitress was just lovely. She really was but she was maybe new and definitely slow not in a delivery sense but rather took 35 minutes to take our food order and then kind of checked up on us. Kind of not we love the relaxed vibe of her, but I think it’s OK when you only have five tables to be a little bit more on top of things. We did however enjoy the over two hour dinner experience we usually get in and out in about an hour and a half but then when a bunch of checks were handed out, she took everybody else first when we were the first seated, I thought that was interesting as well Onto the food, which was exquisite great great job with the shrimp cocktail, adding the pickles and beans along with the salsa Verde. I hope this always stays on the menu. It was just divine. I actually can’t wait to go back and just have that. ! Then my main meal was the steak and it was as usual wonderful I love the fact that they serve it with some chicory. My spouse had the meatloaf and French onion soup and both were excellent. It was actually the best meatloaf they’ve ever had with a little bit of crest on the edges. It was just lovely. The desserts were equally excellent usually we do not get them, but they looked nice and we enjoyed it! 🍸🍸🍮🍮🥩🥩🍤🍤
