- TtedLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOne of Bend’s most romantic dining spots. Service was exceptional. Baked Brie was a good starter. Limited menu but something for everyone. Lamb and pasta were well prepared and presented. That said, the size of their salad and scallop add on was the weak link of the eveningMore infoThe Jackalope GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bend•4.6
- RRebeccaPortland / Oregon •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had an absolutely stellar dinner experience at South Bend Bistro. The restaurant is intimate with 11 tables and 6 bar seats. The ambience was warm and inviting. We sat at the bar seating area, which had a plus that we got to talk with both of the restaurant's owners. They are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the cuisine and the wine selections. In fact, the entire staff including the kitchen staff were friendly and clearly loved what they do. The food was outstanding. We started with the Harvest Salad, which we shared. It contained butter lettuce, prosciutto, green apple slices, chevre, candied sunflower seeds, and picked red onion, with a maple mustard vinaigrette. Delicious! Then we ordered the duck breast, served with huckleberry demiglace, potatoes pavé, and asparagus with bacon and fennel sauté, and king salmon grilled with mushroom basil risotto, roasted asparagus topped with champagne vinegar shallot glaze with confit lemon. Both plates were outstanding and delicious. The wine-by-the glass list was thoughtful and we enjoyed glasses of 2 different red wines. They considerately offered tastes of several wines so we could make our selections. We will definitely be back!More infoSouth Bend BistroPrice: Expensive• American• Sunriver•5
- JJohnPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 15, 2025Dinner and drinks was excellent as were the wait staff . It just feels like a place you would like to have a nice dinner with friends . The timing of drinks , salads and food was perfect and the volcano was unbelievable . It is a bit noisy at peak time but for the best steak you have ever had it's worth it .More infoThe Brickhouse - RedmondPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Redmond•4.7
- FFRANCESLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 11, 2025Brickhouse offers exceptional service and an unforgettable dining experience. Their seafood platter is truly outstanding—the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve enjoyed seafood at numerous restaurants across the U.S. This one stands out above the rest. The staff strikes a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. The manager was particularly impressive—humble, approachable, and committed to ensuring a great experience. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband was happy with his steak, promptly addressing and correcting anything that fell short. Kudos to Brickhouse for delivering such an incredible meal and exceptional service. Highly recommend!More infoThe Brickhouse - BendPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Bend•4.8
- AAnnPortland / Oregon •9 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 8, 2024Food seemed a little lacking in flavors. Calamari was bland as was fish and chips. However, Chowder was great.More infoGreg's GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Bend•4.3
