- CCornellVIPWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe service, cocktails, and culinary delights were nothing short of outstanding. This was our second visit, and my lovely girlfriend and I have officially added it to our list of must-recommend restaurants. Caroline, our server, was patient and professional throughout. The bartender, along with a friendly red-haired server, contributed to our wonderful experience with their warm hospitality and expertly crafted cocktails.More infoGunther & Co.Price: Moderate• American• Canton•4.8
- TTaliyahVIPWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoService was very good, from the waiters to the food runners. Food was delicious. The butternut squash soup with crab was amazing and had a reasonable amount of crab. My cocktail was great and they had an extensive list of options. I had a duck pasta which was amazing. Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert but from what I saw the options looked great. This place is conveniently located with ample parking. We will be back.More infoCopper SharkPrice: Expensive• American• Locust Point•4.7

- AAngelicaPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 8, 2024The Holiday Tea Service at Magdalena is by far the best I've had outside of London proper. The tea selection consists of 5 lovingly curated teas, which I do prefer to being overwhelmed by a list of 100 teas I've never heard of. The small selection also allows Emma to go into depth about the quirks of each of the teas and I really appreciated getting smell samples of the tea beforehand as well as being walked through the process of preparing each tea we chose. The sandwich/scone/and pastries were all absolutely delicious. The portions at Magdalena were the largest I've seen at any high tea service in the US yet, but it was still a large snack rather than the type of fourth meal you'd get in in the UK. The entire staff was lovely, but being guided through the process by Emma, Madgalena's tea and coffee maven, who is full of enthusiasm for tea, coffee (and honestly all things delicious) elevates the experience form just another afternoon snack to a loving and fun homage to tea.More infoMagdalenaPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Mt.
