Best Date Night Restaurants in Westmere

Nice special occasion place. Excellent food except the pork was dry. They just keep on coming with the meats. Nice atmosphere and good service until the end. Not a good value if you have a small appetite. Beware, they give the impression that everything is included. Desert is not. No mention before hand. Spent an extra $65 dollars I didn’t need to. Brought to servers attention after getting the bill but she was indifferent and made no offer of an adjustment.

I am impressed every time I visit Athos. We had a beautiful experience for Christmas Eve dinner. Everything is so fresh and authentic. From the soup to the dessert, we couldn’t say enough good things. The service is top notch and the ambience is lovely. They had decorated nicely for the holiday, with outdoor and indoor lighting and music. It was a nice vibe. We finished our meal with some wonderful greek coffee. Definitely recommend!

It was hard to find a lunch spot Christmas Eve. They provided exceptional food and service. It was a tad loud but understandable given how busy they were.

From reservation to checkout, we love the precise and welcoming quality of eating at Toro Cantina. We haven’t been to Toro in a few months and there were pleasant renovations in the main table Area. Our seats were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our party of 10. The young people truly enjoy the children’s selections - one calls the chicken the best ever!! Adults Shared the large lobster quesadilla and the large mixed salad along with appetizers of table sized guacamole and queso with chips. Drinks were satisfying and yummy. Soup was delicious. A young athlete at the table devoured the beef taco. As always, service was fast, friendly and very accommodating. Granddaughter from out of town requested Toro for Christmas visit treat and all were delighted!!

The ambiance and food are always great here - not the issue. The service is book or busy, and this visit was more of a bust. The server was likely on the newer side, but was clearer not trained in the art of customer service. Lack of communication, not checking in to see if we needed anything (had to flag him down to get more drinks, nothing after our dinner was delivered), and no birthday acknowledgment even though my reservation called it out and I told him before the birthday girl arrived. Will be back, but hopefully a friendlier server.
