The salad bar was fantastic with so many options that I didn't even think would be there. Eg. Garlic buttery mushrooms, peppercorn sauce, little picante? Peppers...beautiful! The meat speaks for itself - absolutely perfect 👌 Only downside was it was my partners birthday which I had noted on our booking. So, when we ordered dessert I had hoped they'd pop a candle on top or say happy birthday but they didn't. Beef was amazing would have preferred carrots rather than puree albeit didn’t take away from the fact most flavoursome food for a long time. We chose from the lunch menu and started with mussels in a wine sauce, absolutely delicious and then homemade fish cake with pea purée, again delicious and well presented. I don’t usually have a pudding but I’m glad I did! Chocolate mousse and passion fruit sorbet, they complimented each other. We were offered canapés which were yummy and had homemade bread with the meal. Good wine selection and fabulous service. What a treat in Norwich and a pretty part of the city.
