Best Date Night Restaurants in Rio Grande

This is our favorite date night restaurant. We go here 2 -3 times a year. Never had a bad experience at The Franklinville Inn in the 30 plus years going here.

We dine in Cape May often at the better places such as The Ebbitt Room, Tisha’s, Washington Inn, Peter Shields and of course Maison Bleue. It’s hard to say which is the best but Maison Bleue is probably our favorite if I was perfectly honest. The food is definitely the best. Finely crafted, well presented, hot and cold as necessary and extremely flavorful. Anna was great as our server. Professional, well informed, attentive and friendly. Dorothy, I believe to be one of the owners, visited our table and wished us Happy New Year and is so pleasant. Pricing is in line for such quality food and service. I can’t express enough things about how good the food is as I think about it more and more. Just soooooooooo delicious. Thank You MBB!

The food was amazing. The waiter we had was very nice, and the gentleman who was training him was also very nice. They both gave us tips on serving and advice on what to prepare with our leftovers. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and the food was delicious. They even celebrated our anniversary. We will definitely be back.

What an absolute pleasure it is to dine at Santorini!!!! My wife and I consider ourselves to be fortunate every time we return to this gem of a restaurant. It’s beautiful and welcoming atmosphere immediately draws you in. The service is always exceptional. Most importantly, the food is the best in the area, with the only exception being its sister restaurant, Venezia, which has food that is equally delicious. And the food is consistently outstanding every time we visit. If you prefer a BYOB, go to Venezia. If you prefer a full service restaurant with a bar, go to Santorini. You’ll be glad yo did!!! We look forward to returning soon.

Small intimate dinning room in the Washington pedestrian mall. Professional, friendly & attentive staff. Attractively decorated for the holiday while still maintaining elegance. It is BYOB. The New England Clam Chowder was flavorful with generous amount of clams. Husband had grilled polenta with broccoli rabe & fresh shaved Pecorino Romano cheese “like Mom used to make.” I couldn’t finish my seafood risotto. So generous was the portion of local shrimp, scallops & clams though I tried ! Husband had Shrimp & Salmon with mash potatoes in chili sauce. Delicious. Try the Pumpkin cheesecake & you’ll think it’s Thanksgiving again. Highly reccomended
