- JJillVIPWashington, D.C. Area •24 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOne of my favorite dining experiences in Nashville. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. They started us off with a complimentary glass of Prosecco to toast the occasion. (Very nice and appreciated). Then we were brought an amuse bouche- which I have to say I couldn't understand the servers description. But it was lovely. We had the focaccia with ricotta and honey. It was excellent. Then we followed with the risotto - which was also excellent. My husband had the sirloin which was well prepared and tender. It came with a side of whipped potatoes. I had the acorn squash which was an unexpected highlight. We looked at the dessert menu but decided we were too full- but the server brought us the pear upside down cake as a celebratory gift- and we loved it. Service was excellent. Our water was attended to. Our drinks were delivered in a timely manner. The atmosphere was quiet- which in Music City is rare and was a welcomed respite to our other dining experiences in the city. Given all this excellence, the dinner was very reasonably priced and a good value. I highly recommend!More infoYolanPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Downtown / Sobro•4.6
- DDeeAnnVIPSan Diego •30 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis place is a very special dining experience. Nowhere can you find a spot with live jazz and mellow music in the middle of the dining room. This type of thing seems like a bygone era but not at the Scull. Stepping inside is like entering an alternate universe with old brick walls, creaking wood floors and upscale dining in an environment that is unique and beyond explanation. The menu offers many options, and pricing is high, but you are paying for an experience and atmosphere that is priceless. We made a reservation and visited the week before Christmas so the musical entertainers played a variety of holiday songs along with old world favorites from the likes of Frand Sinatra to Johnny Cash. I can't say enough good things about this place other than to say you must go and see for yourself.More infoSkull's Rainbow RoomPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown / Sobro•4.8
- AAnnNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe food was delicious. Lobster roll was market value, $36 that day for a hot dog sized roll with a side of chips. It was very good though. The Southampton Pizza was very flavorful, as was the New England clam chowder. Best chowder next to what we’ve had in Boston. It’s a little loud in the restaurant. But not obnoxious. The majority of the Christmas decorations (if you’re coming to see those because you saw it on social media) are on the rooftop level. The rest of the restaurant is regular ambiance. Very friendly service. I would go back.More infoThe Hampton Social - NashvillePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Sobro•4.7
- JJackieSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoEnjoyed the Peloached Pear. Australian Wagyu was delicious and totally worth the price difference from the filet (which my daughter got so we could compare). Brussel sprouts were phenomenal. Chocolate cake isn't too sweet / rich; a good balance. Definitely want to come back to try more items. Cocktails looked great. Music was nice, and the service was great as well.More infoSinatra Bar & LoungePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / Sobro•4.8
