Best Date Night Restaurants in Oak Cliff

There last night to celebrate a friend’s B’day and we had a Wonderful experience! Food was excellent, drinks were 10/10(one of the strongest Old fashioned )the vibe the service it was all fantastic. A must try -Crispy chicken bao bun, Truffle Sashimi,hellfire roll( all the rolls were amazing) and the gigli Pasta didn’t disappoint at all.

It was all of our first time in. I've seen it on Google Maps for over a year and just haven't gone. We're so glad we did. Loved the charming, cozy atmosphere inside and the food was so delicious. Can't wait to try more next time. All the reviews are correct. We will be back! Thanks Bri!

We eat here two to three times a year. Last night was probably the best food we’ve had in the last five years. The bottle of Moet was great. Opening the evening was a plate of four pastries (gougyure?) filled with salmon mousse and caviar. We followed with a Farmer’s Green Salad. My wife had catch of the day. Me? Fried quail. There was not a hiccup with any of these entrees - all were excellent. The desserts - chocolate mousse and an apple tart with ice cream The chef’s gift to the table was a pumpkin soup with coconut milk. I wished that they would make this a regular menu item. One slight flaw. The recipe for the famous Dean Fearing tortilla soup seems to have changed. All in all - an excellent evening. IF. If I could change one thing? Hire a carpenter. Put in a vestibule ahead of the outside entry door. it was cold outside last night, and the drafts that passed through the restaurant are quite cold. All in all - the $$ were well spent.

I will continue to return to Moxie’s because of the inclusive consistent experience I have each visit. From the moment I walk in the door, everyone greets with eye contact and a welcoming smile. Hospitality is always felt even when a happy hour with friends extends longer than expected. Noah provided an exemplary experience yesterday.

Such a great experience for a celebratory meal. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience. Would 10/10 recommend.
