The waitress was honest and knowledgeable when we asked for his input while ordering steaks. I ordered the Kobe cap medium rare and it came out rare, but it was still delicious. She gave us the time we needed to decide on the extensive menu, and in between courses. We watched the Bruins (lose-bummer!) but the atmosphere kept us in good spirits. All the food came out hot and delicious! We really loved the Portuguese calamari and the fresh, warm sourdough with the dipping oil was amazing. Overall, great dinner. Don’t skip the fried ice cream- it completed the whole meal!! Prices are on the higher side, but it’s just a sign of the times. Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch.
