- VSValSVIPBaltimore / Maryland •21 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoI booked the restaurant for a company team holiday get together. The hostess was very accommodating allowing me to get seated while waiting for the team to arrive. Out waitress Michelle was very sweet and attentive. Food was good and all had a great time. A couple took some of the famous donuts home as well!More infoFounding Farmers VA: TysonsPrice: Moderate• American• Tysons Corner / McLean•4.4
- DDanielWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSometimes the greatest luxury is when something simple is done absolutely flawlessly. Our anniversary dinner at Black Salt fits that description. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. The restaurant is open to individual preferences and tweaks. The food was extremely fresh, cooked to perfection, and delicious. Portions were not huge, but satisfying, and beautifully plated. We had oysters, steamed clams, red snapper and fried Ipswich (belly) clams. The oysters were fresh and they had about eight varieties to choose from. The clams were served in a nice garlicky tomatoey broth. The fish was perfectly grilled and lightly seasoned to bring out the flavor. The sides were delicious in themselves. Every vegetable in a medley of mixed vegetables tasted exactly like that vegetable should taste. I suspect they had been cooked and seasoned separately and then joined together at plating. A purée of turnips and parsnips was light and tasty with a nice parsnippy sweetness. A simple salad was fresh and perfectly dressed with a light house vinaigrette. A cranberry orange flan served with a fresh fruit salad completed the meal. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.More infoBlackSaltPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Palisades Northwest•4.8
- SSusanWashington, D.C. Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoDespite the fact that some businesses were closed due to accumulated snow, Wildfire was full service. All items on the menu were available. Three of us in our party of six had the medallions of beef which were done perfectly. The same with the two salmon dinners although the prices which included one side dish seemed a bit expensive. Server was attentive and pleasant but not oppressively so. All in all, a positive and worthwhile experience.More infoWildfire - TysonsPrice: Moderate• American• Tysons Corner / McLean•4.6
