Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. What an incredible experience. The food was spectacular. Burrata salad, Quesabirria, steak/frites and prime fillet with foie gras …. Delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly. Presentation was perfect. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was quaint but stylish. Highly recommend Blanco Colima for a great experience. Tres Leches was to die for.

With a view over the zocalo and cathedral the setting is fabulous. The menu was creative and both of use the 4-course tasting menu. The food was very well cooked and presented. The drinks were reasonably priced for a restaurant of this calibre. Waitstaff were numerous and attentive, although service was a little slow, hence not a perfect score
