- KKatieSan Francisco Bay Area •62 reviews5.0Dined todayFood is consistently amazing. It’s a classic for a reason. It’s loud in there so think about seating as yelling across the table is challenging. The beginning of the meal felt rushed this time but it did not detract from the experience, we just needed to slow ourselves down vs giving in to how quickly the service was moving us.More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8

- KkristinSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe dined here to celebrate a birthday and made a reservation in advance, mentioning the occasion. The food and service were both great, but it would have been a nice touch if the birthday had been acknowledged in some way—perhaps a small treat or even a 'Happy Birthday' when we checked in. Little gestures like that make celebrations feel extra special. Overall, it was a good experience, but that detail would have made it truly memorableMore infoKokkari EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8
- BBarbaraSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHaven't been here in years. Really liked the salad with oranges and dates -- excellent. Suqash soup was good, though a little salty. Sole was excellent. The lamb was good though I would recommend it for someone who really wants a lot of meat. I like the three different types of lamp presented - lamb chop, spiced ground lamb, and something approximating doner. The best thing about Zuni is the staff. My outstanding rating really goes to them. They were all very nice, and despite the usual busy atmosphere of a popular restaurant on a Friday evening, they actually seemed to be enjoying their work and each other. I'm glad Zuni's pricing includes a 20% tip by default -- I prefer the European model where tip is always included, and I hope staff are paid appropriately! Thank you.More infoZuni CafePrice: Expensive• Modern European• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.7
- CcarmenSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoForeign Cinema is by far one of the best restaurants in San Francisco and throughout the years they have maintained the same quality level. The food is beautifully presented and the innovative flavors are a pleasant surprise to the palate. They have something for everyone. The crew is very well experienced and their recommendations for wine pairing is always right on. Don’t be surprised if they bring complementary dishes. We have been dining at Foreign Cinema since they open and we will continue visiting them.More infoForeign CinemaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Mission District•4.7
