Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Yorkville

This is my wife’s favourite restaurant in the GTA. It’s one of the only places we’ve been to in years where the food, service, cleanliness, and ambiance are perfect every time. We usually get a chicken tawook, some garlic labneh, some rice, some veggie skewers, and occasionally hummus or makanek if I’m feeling extra hungry. The lamb shank is also excellent. It’s nice to see an actual dining room manager floating around keeping an eye on dinner service without being overbearing. That’s an art in itself. We don’t really drink but we always get sparkling water and the type they carry is deliciously sharp. I’ve only had their sticky toffee pudding as far as the desserts go, but it was very good! Really nice ice cream that certainly tastes homemade to me. We’ll keep coming back if they keep it up like this!

From appetizers to dessert, the tasting menu from Joni restaurant exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious and the presentation of the food is beautiful. The portion size is just right for us. The staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is quiet and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back again!

I had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 5:30 PM, to celebrate the birthday of my friend, Daniel Dos Santos. His attention to detail and friendly demeanour made our dining experience truly enjoyable. The food was absolutely delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed my selections: •Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Riesling – refreshing and crisp. •Chef’s Feature Soup – warm and flavourful. •New York Striploin 10oz – perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. •Pistachio Ice Cream – a smooth and delicious finish to the meal. •Americano with Cream – the perfect way to conclude the evening. A special thank you to your team for the thoughtful gesture of providing macarons to celebrate Daniel’s birthday. It added a wonderful touch to an already memorable evening. Alex our server along with his help, was truly a human force. He picked up on the stressful yet important dynamic and offered us a care package of baked goods for my mother's special day.
