Uli's Restaurant is a White Rock institution. Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. Uli's son Tyson took over operations in 2008 and he picked up right where his father left off – providing the White Rock waterfront with a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, stunning water views, refreshingly simple food, an extensive international beer list, and a diverse selection of wines. The Old Surrey Restaurant is Surrey’s best well- kept secret. Built in 1918, it was the residence of Lou Jack and his household until it was converted into a restaurant in 1974.The interior has a crisp, clean aesthetic that is enhanced by hardwood floors and the enlarged photos of historic Surrey that adorn the walls. There are five distinct dining areas on the top floor (including a cozy library) and a banquet facility downstairs. The cuisine is French with a splash of West Coast flare. A treat for new and seasoned guests alike are the signature dishes that are prepared and flambeed tableside. The restaurant has been family-owned and operated since 1974 and in 1984 the restaurant has entered into a partnership with the family farm in Ryder Lake overlooking Chilliwack from the nearby mountains.     Our server Jorge (pronounced Horhay) was outstanding!!! Personable, professional and so efficient the entire time! The food was outstanding! Although it was incredibly busy on Christmas Day evening, the staff was amazing from the hostess to our server!!! The Boathouse in White Rock is somewhere that we would be happy to visit again and again!!! May start a new family tradition of dining out on Christmas Day as it was such an enjoyable experience!

    I work for The Kegs head office, I've never had a bad experience at The Keg no matter what location I go to. It's definitely the restaurant to go to, to celebrate the holidays with friends & family or any high light event.

    As usual, the service was very good. The fried chicken I ordered was good, although the gravy needed more seasoning. The grilled Caesar salad was delicious, unfortunately the $18 price tag for the portion size was disappointing. Uli's is my favorite restaurant in White Rock, and I will come back again and again.
