Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Slingerlands

Always a pleasure enjoying the food, the atmosphere and especially our waitress Michele !

We were seated right away. We had asked for a booth in the reservation and got one. The place was packed! It was a little noisy but the DJ was playing some good music that added to the fun. Our server was Gabriel. He was super attentive and friendly. Drinks took a few mins but we all got frozens and like I said, the place was packed. But wow, awesome pina coladas. 2 of us had them and the other had the coronarita and he really enjoyed that. The food came out quickly! We started with the nachos and they were so good. We all loved the queso used. We all got the tour of Mexico. Wow that’s a lot of food! Everything tasted great! I ate about half and took the rest home. Gabriel brought us each a tequila shot “for dessert” which was a really nice touch. We all left super stuffed. Great value for the money paid. Will definitely go back. This was my 2nd time, both times we had excellent service and food.

Food was good. While our waitress was friendly there were gaps in service.

We go to Dave & Busters often, but don't always have time to sit and have a meal. Our food and service was great, and the menu had a variety of options for everyone. The only downfall, and not even a huge deal, the kids portions were very small. My kids probably could have ordered two kids meals each with the size of the portions they had. D&B should consider increasing the size of the kids portions.

The ambiance and food are always great here - not the issue. The service is book or busy, and this visit was more of a bust. The server was likely on the newer side, but was clearer not trained in the art of customer service. Lack of communication, not checking in to see if we needed anything (had to flag him down to get more drinks, nothing after our dinner was delivered), and no birthday acknowledgment even though my reservation called it out and I told him before the birthday girl arrived. Will be back, but hopefully a friendlier server.
