The food was delicious and the ambience was great. It is a beautiful dining room and being upstairs we were out of the hustle and bustle which was good for the older folks at our table. Thanks for. - SSHARYNvipPhiladelphia County •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was amazing and our server, Amer, was outstanding! As steakhouses go this was definitely one of the better ones we’ve enjoyed. Portion sizes for appetizers was great for sharing. We had several including the crispy shrimp, braised pork belly, calamari, chicken fried lobster, and meatballs. All were really yummy - the meatballs were probably the best I’ve ever had. Although Amer told us the salads were individually portioned, the Caesar salad was huge (plenty to share) and the beet salad could easily serve 2 or 3. Our steaks and my pork chops were cooked perfectly. Steak 48 will definitely be in the dining out rotation going forward.More infoSteak 48 - PhiladelphiaPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Rittenhouse Square•4.8
- JJudePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOur Thanksgiving dinner at Fork was everything we hoped for, from inventive takes on traditional dishes (like cranberry sauce flavored with star anise) to the newly renovated (moody, sophisticated) dining room. Highlights included fresh oysters and perfectly dressed tuna crudo, and roasted butternut squash stuffed with tangy labneh. No detail is overlooked—even the parsley butter for the dinner rolls was memorable. Creative cocktails like the “Sibling Rivalry” and a surprisingly smooth barrel aged Wild Turkey (a nod to the presumed centerpiece of the holiday meal) set the vibe, and service found the sweet spot between unobtrusive and efficient. Can’t wait for the seven fishes on Christmas Eve.More infoFork - PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Old City•4.7
