- AAnneVIPWashington, D.C. Area •14 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a wonderful evening. The commitment to sustainable sourcing and management is commendable/awesome. A+. The setting, the service, the pacing of the meal and the fresh, farm raised offerings were excellent. The prix fixe menu offered two starters per person and a main, or a starter/main/dessert. The amount of food was too generous and guidance on portion sizes would have been helpful. We enjoyed the starters immensely but they were quite large. The main courses - pork and lamb - were delicious but busy - again substantial and might benefit from a simpler presentation. The bowl of root veggies that came with the mains was yummy but we could not finish it. Overall, a wonderful concept that we support but might need some refining in terms of menu design and portion clarity.More infoBramble & HarePrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Boulder•4.6

For dinner, she had the fried half chicken with mashed potatoes; I had the roasted half bird (no gravy) with collard greens. Both were very good. (She prefers white meat, I prefer dark…so our leftovers provided both of us another meal the next day!) We shared a chocolate whoopie pie for dessert. Great local restaurant and craft brewery that has always been one of our favorites. We especially enjoy the outdoor patio in the summertime!More infoThe Post Chicken & Beer - LongmontPrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Longmont•4.7
