Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Hyde

Hispi is our favourite restaurant so we were delighted to get in early enough to book a table for Christmas Day. We knew it would be excellent, but the team delivered beyond our expectations and the whole experience could not have been better. There was a lovely atmosphere, and although the restaurant was full the staff succeeded in timing everything to absolute perfection. Having been asked to choose from the menu in advance, it was nice to have the option to change our minds on the day (which we didn't). There were fresh flowers and crackers on the table, and the Christmas card was a lovely touch; these details, together with the minimal but tasteful decorations, were just enough to mark the festive occasion without going over the top. The meal itself was a culinary delight from start to finish, and the only problem with the menu options was that we'd happily have had all of them!

Staff were amazing. Waiter was superb with our 15 month old and the doorman was super polite. Love this place.

Incredible dinner at The Ivy Asia. Opted for the pre-theatre set menu for £40. Came with 4 courses each and we also chose two extras off the main menu. All of the food was amazing, generous portions and definitely worth the menu. The staff were all superb and so attentive, didn’t catch the main of our waitress but she was outstanding. The tables are quite close together and the music fairly loud so it was definitely noisy and hard to hear each other as we could hear the next tables conversations so bare that in mind. But the atmosphere was lovely otherwise. First time at The Ivy Asia and will definitely be returning.

Excellent food, drink and service at the ivy as usual. It's such a special treat to go. Chicken skewers, venison tartar, salt and pepper squid, fillet steak, turkey, sirloin, pedang duck, all amazing, with excellent service and drinks. Thank you the Ivy
