Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Kennington

The food was delicious and quick as we had a show to get to. They allowed us to seat even though we were late due to the trains. The staff were all so welcoming and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend.

My friend and I had a table booked for a late lunch at 15.00. I turned up at around 14.30, and it was no trouble at all that I was so early. We both went for the fixed price menu at £19 for two courses, and had the salmon rillette and chicken satay to start, followed by the haddock fishcake and shepherd's pie. My friend had a side of green beans as well. The food was all delicious, as usual at The Ivy, and the service was efficient and friendly - although our young waitress was asking us about the food before we'd had a chance to eat anything. The bill, with two glasses of House Champagne and a large glass of Sauvignon Blanc came to roughly £50 each including service.

The service was fabulous and the singer and musicians were totally amazing. Overall although expensive it was a memorable experience.
