- KKyleIndiana •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were running behind due to the parade of lights and Ivan made sure to graciously adjust or reservation which I know isn’t always easy. Upon arrival we were seated immediately and well taken care off by all members of the service team. Food was excellent, prepared as requested and served hot. Couldn’t ask for a better dining experience!More infoEl Che Steakhouse & BarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West Loop•4.7
- LLorenvipChicago / Illinois •59 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLove La Serre! Valet guys are great. Hosts are welcoming. Excellent food and service every time. whether in dining room or at the bar. George at the bar is awesome. Craft cocktails are pretty and tasty. I appreciate the complimentary hot bread that you often can’t get anymore. The tuna Crudo is the best I’ve ever had in my life. Highly recommend! I would love to eat that every day and I would love to know the sauce that it is swimming in because it is absolutely incredible!!! The escargot is good, nice garlicky sauce and I appreciate they give you bread for dipping. Love the apple kale salad with feta cheese. Generous portion, tastes Perfect! I’ve enjoyed many entrées at previous visits which were all fantastic, as well. The pasta with lemony clam sauce is delicious. (Wanna try the bacon pasta next time). Can’t go wrong with pretty much anything there. Re desserts: LOVE the bruleed French toast.and the bread pudding - both with gelato. A cappuccino to end the night. ALL fantastic! ! Only thing I’d change: for tables of 2, one has to look at the booth wall. Maybe consider repositioning tables (and yes I know many Restos have same problem) or angle mirror above booth side so regardless of seat, all diners can see the beautiful lively room.More infoLa SerrePrice: Expensive• French• West Loop•4.6
- SSuevipChicago / Illinois •13 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe atmosphere, food and service were excellent! Ask to be seated in the section with server, Julien, who is extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and resourceful! Both the Caesar salad and kale salads were wonderful, the steak frites was grilled (rare) to perfection and the roasted half chicken was so juicy! We stayed late and the vibe got even more lively! I highly recommend Bar La Rue for a great night out!More infoBar La RuePrice: Expensive• French American• West Loop•4.6
- JJoliePhoenix / Arizona •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThis place was great! The location is right off the river and has a nice outdoor seating area. Our party was visiting for a business training and we wanted to a spot that really highlighted the city. Not only was the location perfect for sightseeing in the city, the setting by the river made it an ideal place to spend time with friends, and the food was delicious! Additionally, the service was excellent and the servers were very helpful and made the experience really enjoyable. We were talking about and recommending River Roast throughout the business trip, and it was mainly because we were so impressed by the service.More infoRiver RoastPrice: Expensive• American• River North (Chicago)•4.5
