Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Kennett Square

Mendenhall is one of our favorite restaurants but we hadn't been to their Sunday Brunch in years. We will definitely be returning soon. It is one of the best brunch buffets I have been to. Great variety- a raw bar with shrimp, oysters, smoked salmon and more, a salad bar, an omelet station, soup, side dishes for the omelet, pasteries, a prime rib station and a huge dessert table that featured bananas foster. You also get mimosas and coffee, tea, or soda. But the true bonus you get at Mendenhall is the service and the welcoming atmosphere. They make you feel special from the time you enter to the time you leave. Andy is a remarkable server (I always ask for him) and our used dishes were cleared as soon as we left to go to the buffet for a refill. Very attentive and so very pleasant. Had a wonderful experience..

We had a fantastic experience at La Verona! The service was excellent . Harry, our server, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We both ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend La Verona for both the food and the outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

When you become a regular of the Platinum Diamond Group, these people are just extra. I believe the people at the restaurants are great because the Managers are Awesome! Awesome managers spread positivity and in the end, the patron has a happy experience. Thank you all and THANK YOU for fabulous food!
