Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Golden

We went to the Chart House for our anniversary last night. It was amazing! We had a cozy window seat overlooking the city as the sun was setting. Drinks were good. Tried the clam chowder and calamari for appetizers. They were really good! Then I got the Chilean Sea Bass with lobster risotto which was incredible. My husband got the halibut with garlic mashed potatoes and a side of mushrooms. That was delicious too. Then they surprised us with a glass of wine and anniversary dessert at the end. Everything was so delicious! The atmosphere was nice for a romantic anniversary dinner. Can’t wait to go back!!

We had 7 for Thanksgiving dinner and it was wonderful. Everything you can imagine plus prime rib, crab legs and shrimp and desserts galore! And no dishes. Fabulous!

Very comfortable place with wide selection of teas, offered. Afternoon tea comes with unlimited tea and wonderful stacked tray of sandwiches and pastries. The deck in summer overlooks the Clear Creek.

I like the variety in food that Lot One has to offer. There is something for everyone. I had the vegetarian nann wrap and it was tasty and my friend had a turkey sandwich that came with a nice dipping sauce. I would like to go back and try their BBQ. The noise level is high in that I felt like I could hear everyone in the place talking at once - however, I was able to hear my friend without asking her to speak up. I would go back again. It's a good place with friendly and helpful staff.

We went to Sushi Hai fro my birthday dinner. We had fantastic service and enjoyed our table, and the room was not noisy, we could hear each other which was very nice. The food was outstanding - ramen, steak, and sushi were all excellent. We all enjoyed our experience at Sushi Hai very much and would go again.
