Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Newhaven

Wonderful food and lovely staff. Great atmosphere. Only gripe would be the music which is a bit too loud. Otherwise, just fantastic.

Wine menu offered choices we’d not seen before and buyer to be commended We had a one year old with us and staff were very accommodating which meant we all relaxed and had a wonderful post Christmas meal Will return next time we visit Lewes

We had to wait to be seated as we were told that our table was ready but then advised it was given to someone else and it would be a couple of minutes. That was not true and we had to enquire if the table was then ready, to which we were seated immediately. Although we were having the set Christmas menu we were also not offered a drinks menu, we had to pull this up via our phones. The server we finally had was nice, but we had to ask to do the Cluedo activity but he was attentive when serving the food. Normally it’s been really great here but the seating and no drinks menu was not the best experience.
