Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Chagrin Falls

Wonderful experience to celebrate our mother’s 90th birthday (2/15). Want to thank Jennifer for her excellent service and for putting up with our tardiness. We just wanted to enjoy the moment. Thank you.

Wow! What a fantastic find. We are new to the area so it was our first time. Great building design. Up front is a bar area that you walk in to which is noisy but beautifully decorated. We dined in back off to a side room where you sit very close to the tables next to you. The service was perfection. We recognized our server there from another town. She is new to this restaurant and as always, professional, friendly and perfect. The food was outstanding! I had fish and chips my wife had chicken parm. They were cooked perfectly and very hot. For starters we had calamari. The texture and taste were amazing. Highly recommend coming here. Very excited to find a new great place to dine.

This was my 2nd time frequenting this establishment. I genuinely enjoyed it. Each time we've encountered an issue that they readily address and resolve. That goes far with me! Our waitress was amazing. She was helpful in my drink decision by offering her rake on certain ingredients and also in our choice of aide items. We ordered everything she suggested. We were not disappointed in either item. My husband's drink was An Apple A Day. It tasted like a regular margarita but with apple flavoring. I had a regular margarita 🍹 because that just always seem to work for me. It was delicious 😋 We both ordered steaks. Ribeye for him. Filet for me. It was suggested to butterfly 🦋 the filet. Ok. Well done. The ribeye was prepared perfectly 👌🏽 My filet was very pink inside. I sent it back. 2nd time, it was 50% well, 50% pink. Ok. I'll just take it home and fix it. My waitress didn't like that i had to doctor up my steak so she had it removed from my bill and offered me dessert on them. That was nice and greatly appreciated 👏🏽 💐 I definitely don't mind paying $70 for my steak. I love steak so I expect to pay for my fine dining experience. However, for that same reason, I want it prepared to my specifications. I am grateful that she felt the same sentiment without me asking. That ribeye on on point tho! No issues. And the flavoring/seasoning on both steaks were great. We ordered 3 sides because we couldn't narrow it down after listening to our waitress. We got mac-n-cheese, steak fries, and snap peas 🫛 Each 1 was amazing. The mac-n-cheese was a smoked gouda mac so you know it levels it up a bit. Gouda can be a lot alone but it was done well here. The snap peas 🫛 had like some chilli 🌶 flakes tossed in for additional flavor. It worked. I think it was also a few spinach leaves thrown in too. The steak fries were good. Not spectacular but definitely flavorful. Would I return here? Absolutely 💯 It was very loud in here but oh well...

We went for Happy Hour, and it was great! Not only were the appetizers and pizza half off, but we also found out that all bottles of wine were half hour since it was Wednesday! Our server (Alec P) was awesome; he was very attentive and took great care of us! All of the food was delicious!

We had a lovely lunch with friends with a beautiful view of the Chagrin Falls. The staff was accommodating and helpful and our server was efficient, friendly, and unobtrusive. Food was delicious and plentiful. It’s a beautifully decorated space with comfortable seating. All in all, a great choice for a pleasant mid-week lunch. My only complaint is the parking meters in the adjacent lots…I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a restaurant where i had to pay a meter to park and dine. Didn’t care for that, as we had to rush out to put more coins in the meters while finishing our dessert and coffee.
