- LLYNNVIPLos Angeles •57 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025Salt Creek Grille exceeded all my expectations. All the food was exceptional, fresh and creative. I enjoyed the most delicious and delicate crab cake I have ever had in CA! That is high praise coming from a woman living in Baltimore for 20 years! The service was personable and professional. I am not sure of the very nice gentleman’s name. He was instrumental in making the brunch enjoyable with his attentive nature. - SSeanWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024I went to Mayfield while visiting my parents for the holidays and celebrating a promotion at work. Expectations were high given that I looked at the menu online and thought I would happily eat everything on jt...and they were met and exceeded! One great indicator: 3 days later, my father, who is usually not impressed by restaurants, is still regularly raving to relatives and friends about the Moroccan carrots and grilled broccolini. The baba ganoush and date labneh were amazing to start with (along with the house-baked foccacia), and the beef tagine croquettes and mussels with n'duja also impressed. Dessert was a smooth, silky chocolate crémeux with orange/vanilla-infused olive oil to drizzle on top...just the chefs kiss. Service was friendly and helpful and enthusiastic, and the vibe was cool and relaxed. I look forward to returning on future visits!More infoMayfield- San Juan CapistranoPrice: Expensive• Californian• San Juan Capistrano•4.8
