Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Sahara Avenue

We celebrated my mother-in-laws 90th birthday. The entire experience was great. Service, Food, Portion Size, Ambiance It was a special treat and I would eat there again for another special occasion for sure!.

We chose Capital Grill because we wanted an amazing steakhouse experience but needed an early reservation. We were blown away with the service, the quality of food and the total experience. Drinks were creative and delicious. The staff was extremely accommodating for my mom in a wheelchair and was always close without feeling overbearing. We ordered started with a cup of soup and all of them were delicious: lobster bisque, clam chowder and onion soup. I’d say order the onion, it was spectacular. Next we shared the lobster salad where the lobster was perfectly cooked, tender and the dressing just the right amount of citrus. For entrees we had the cut filet mignon with mushroom and fig essence. This dish didn’t blow me away, the meat was perfectly cooked but the mushrooms and onion didn’t add anything. I would say just order the regular filet. We also had the salmon that was delicious. I recommend this restaurant whole heartedly.

Lasagna excellent as main entree. We hesitated just a bit about the meatball for an appetizer but at the last minute we went for it. Best choice!! It was tasty. Peppers in the sauce were the best. Ambiance is cool and the singer made the night. Worth the drive from the strip.

Meal was delicious but pricey. We had the pasta carbonara.

We had am Amazing meal and the staff was great. We will definitely be back.
