Sure it’s pricey, but it was worth every penny, from the second they take your coat at the door, through the many courses, and being sent home with a box or rolled back to your car due to the amount of food. Our server was able to instantly answer our requests for recommendations across different courses, including a perfect wine pairing that balanced different meals and palates for myself and my wife. Top notch, will return, and recommend to anyone willing to foot the bill.More infoL'Auberge Chez FrancoisPrice: Very Expensive• French• Great Falls•4.9
- LLyndavipWashington, D.C. Area •265 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe looked forward to our return visit back to Jacques' Brasserie and it did not disappoint. The service by Angelica was perfect and the food was as well. We enjoyed the Onion Soup Gratinee and the Brasserie Burger with Frites were super. We planned what we ate with a view to ordering the Grand Marnier Souffle, which was worth a trip in itself. We look forward to returning.More infoJacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez FrancoisPrice: Expensive• French• Great Falls•4.9
- DDR. ANDIvipWashington, D.C. Area •30 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOh my! I’ve been going to Clyde’s restaurants for decades. They’ve been special in their own ways: very good, mid-priced food, nice decors, and excellent service. This was my first time at Tower Oaks and, as soon as I walked in, I wanted to spend the week! Though that’s not possible, I do think their setting and ‘lodge’ decor are like the most exquisite National Park or luxury lodge I’ve been in. In the same Clyde’s fashion, no detail is spared and the tables are spacious and not at all crowded! Dawn was our server and she was top-notch; including when we wanted mussels but couldn’t eat the spicy preparation on the menu, she volunteered to speak with the kitchen about using the lemon butter on the cod and throwing in some garlic. It was divine! And we complemented it by a market salad with greens, apples, and pears and a white Balsamic dressing. We were seated in a large booth overlooking the forest. As we walked out, I saw a formal dining room with large round tables. I’ll be sure to bring our family group of 6-8 to enjoy what a round table offers. Could not have been happier! Since covid, we’re still not eating out a lot; this was a rare and perfect treat! Kudos!More infoTower Oaks LodgePrice: Moderate• American• Rockville•4.7

- OTOpenTable DinerWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024The restaurant was very busy, with a lot of people taking advantage of the free 4-course for veterans on Veterans Day. Despite that, they achieved their usual level of awesomeness. They handled our special requests easily, were attentive and friendly, and got everything to the table in a timely manner.More infoThe Melting Pot - GaithersburgPrice: Expensive• Fondue• Gaithersburg•4.5
