Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Burlingame

Yelp recommended this seafood place in the Peninsula. What a great recommendation!! The hostess was friendly and full of smiles. She explained the menus and specials of the day. Ricky was our server and he was the best! I was craving Fisherman’s Wharf style Cioppino and I was not disappointed!! It was rich in tomato flavor with spices, scallops, 3 kinds of fish, clams, mussels, crab with a bottom layer of fettuccine and garlic bread. I would say this was one of the best Cioppinos I’ve in years! My wife ordered the Lobster and Crab Ravioli with red sauce. She loved it as the tomato sauce had a kick to it! It was cooked perfectly! Portions were perfect!

Came here with family. Ordered two types of steak, Angus and New York strip, and both were exquisitely prepared. Alaskan halibut was fabulous too.

We had a wonderful time at Mokutanya. The wait staff was very nice, and the food quality was excellent. The wagu skewer was so tender. We enjoyed the private glass booth we were in. It is dimly lit, so just pay attention when you're walking to the bathroom. We loved it so much we'll be back with more friends!

Outstanding service, 5-6 courses were great and the other 5 not so much. Dessert could use a boost, the chestnut cake was dry and the fruit not the best quality. Great for a first time omakase experience in my backyard! Easy peezy parking, and the ladies who served left a memorable impression.
