Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Belle Meade

We celebrated our anniversary there tonight. It was absolutely perfect. The food was prepared to the highest standard. The service was spot on. Have not had a better experience in a restaurant in a long time. It was exactly what we were looking for. They did not have a menu built of the newest and most creative items that take 10 minutes to describe. Just the tried and true favorites done exceptionally well. Arancini, veal saltimboco, tiramisu. And that’s what we were looking for.

Delicious food and drinks. Our waiter was the best and very knowledgeable about the menu.

We have visited MereBulles on other trips to the area and always enjoyed it. This time, while several lively groups gathered for happy hour in the lounge area, we had an early dinner in the quiet restaurant. The food options are varied, as are the cocktail and wine list. We shared the calamari appetizer, then dined on grouper or charred oysters and a lovely beet and burrito salad. Such a pleasant evening.

We came in just after getting married. Everyone from John on the phone when we had to change our reservation a bit, to the host, to our server, Zack (Zach?) were incredibly lovely and sweet. Zack was wonderful- attentive, kind, and adorably excited for us to be there celebrating such a special day. Thank you to everyone there for making a big moment that much more special! (also the space is beautiful and the food was delicious!)
