Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in West End

Wow! We went to the Mockingbird for Thanksgiving! This gave us many more things to be thankful for. Our server was a joy. He was friendly, engaging and attentive. The food was de-liscious! Pumpkin soup, kale salad with butternut squash and candied pecans to start. The turkey dinner was huge! With traditional sides of mashed potatoes, stuffing and green beans. We took a lot home. Of course. We left a little room for cake. The dining area reminded us of a 1940s style with music to match that vibe. We look forward to going back to try their regular menu. Ideally, summertime on the deck!

We arrived at the restaurant on Thanksgiving and our table wasn’t quite ready yet so we were sent to the bar to wait. We found a seat and ordered bloody marys. The bartenders were very friendly and we got our drinks quickly. They were very busy but their service was great!! When our table wasn’t quite ready we were taken to the table and seated. Once our food came it was hot and the portion on the plate a lot. Food was fantastic the service was great and the waitress was very friendly!! This was our first visit but not our last!!

We had the most wonderful time. Our server was very attentive and thoughtful. It was later in the evening with no new reservations coming in. We were super cold and she moved us near the fire place. Made the experience much better. Our meals were wonderful. I had the beef tenderloin and they did allow me to leave off the pepper sauce. My husband had the salmon and daughter had the lamb. Every dish we would get again. The ambiance were so nice. Every decoration placed perfectly. Loved it so much!

Jordan was awesome….. Like made us feel like we had a long lost friend who took care of everything effortlessly. People like her are not a dime a dozen, you have an amazing culture driven employee there that loves the brand & the company she works for. A little loud but not crowded at all, the Iberian Pig promises big flavors on tiny plates. Every dish we had was outstanding, from the crisp, lightly dressed Waldorf salad, to the marinated olives, the spectacular selection of meats and cheeses (including a local cheese that was a delight), the croquettes and crostini and sauces and dips -- everything was phenomenal. And the desserts! We opted for the seasonal dessert, as well as the olive oil gelato and the burnt Basque cheesecake with black garlic dulce de leche. I'm going to be dreaming about the desserts until we get a chance to come back! The prices were fair; our family of three, tax and tip included, spent about $220 for a 2-meat, 3-cheese charcuterie; 3 desserts; 7 dishes; and a couple Cokes. Plus the kitchen gave us two free dishes due to a mix-up on their end. All the servers & FOH/BOH staff were amazing.
