- EEmilWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoVisited The Monocle for the first time since going there while in college fifty years ago. I was in DC for work near the Capitol and had to make a pilgrimage to this landmark watering hole. It didn’t disappoint. There was the junior senator from my home state dining with her husband. The decor is cheerier than I remember, team serving means you’re never ignored, and the jumbo crab cake was perfect. Maitre D Nick has been there about as long and knows everyone.More infoThe MonoclePrice: Expensive• American• Capitol Hill•4.8

- BBarbaravipWashington, D.C. Area •16 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis is a beautiful space. We had a large party of 8 pp, some friends were late, and we had a friend pull up last minute. I would say, not the easiest table. Our Captain and servers were very attentive and accommodating. All my guests left saying what a fabulous dinner it was. Fun cocktails. We shared a bunch of plates (Halloumi, Gigantes, Spanakopita, Mushrooms [Get Them!]) Feta Wrapped Phyllo, and some ordered mains. The food was so yummy! We will be back.More infoLimani - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Southwest Waterfront•4.5
- DDianavipCharlotte •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Highly recommend Hen Quarter Prime. The service was excellent and the food was great. We tried the fried green tomatoes, oysters, deviled eggs and Caesar salad for starters. For entrees we had the steak, sea bass, and jerk bites. We really enjoyed the food. The restaurant is beautiful and the cocktails were also good. This restaurant is going into my regular rotation.More infoHen Quarter PrimePrice: Expensive• Southern• Washington•4.4
- CCorinnaWashington, D.C. Area •14 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 22, 2024Cranes does not disappoint! Extremely well prepared and beautifully presented, the tapas dishes were fresh and provided exotic flavor combos. The dishes tend to be fairly heavy despite the small plate size because many of the dishes are fried and my only wish is that there were more variety of veggies available.More infoCranesPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7
