- GGailLos Angeles •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food is always excellent and I have been coming here for years. Best Italian food. One cannot go wrong with any restaurant owned/run by the Drago brothers but Celestino is my favorite. Have a hard time steering myself away from my favorite appetizer, calamari steak, favorite pastas of either the spinach fettuccine with wild boar sauce or the risotto with marscapone cheese and porcini mushrooms. just can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Panna cota is my favorite dessert. I guess everyone was in town for the rose parade and the rose bowl game as the place was packed so nosier than is the norm and I have never waited for my table before but we were in no hurry so got a drink at the bar until our table was ready. Calo Drago was working and always treats us well and last night was no exception. Everyone I have taken to this restaurant raves about the food, service and comes back to this restaurant on their own.More infoCelestinoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Pasadena•4.6
- GGeraldineLos Angeles •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe best prime rib dinner we've had in like forever! Thick and juicy, medium rare was the best and not over salted or fatty. We had the creamed corn, spinach, mashed potatoes, gravy and the Yorkshire Pudding. We started with the wedge salad with roquefort dressing with big chunks of bacon. We had creme brûlée for dessert and the hot fudge sundae. We loved Tam O' Shanter and will return again to celebrate!!! The waiters were very observant and knew when we needed ice tea refills, attended to our needs and were friendly and respectful. Ambience was quiet, intimate, low key, we went there in the early afternoon so it was quiet. We definitely will go back and highly recommend this place with the best food, ambience, staff and plenty of parking.More infoTam O'ShanterPrice: Moderate• American• Los Feliz•4.5

- AAlanVIPLos Angeles •158 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOur party of 5 had the private, "500" dining room as we celebrated my cousin's birthday. Gary and his team took excellent care of us, and made sure our experience was perfect and memorable! As usual the food was outstanding, and prepared perfectly! Prices are not inexpensive, but for the most part, you get what you pay for! Ruth's Chris/Pasadena remains one of our top "destination" steakhouses, and we'll be back time and again!More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - PasadenaPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Pasadena•4.7
