Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Lakeshore East

Service nice but very busy. The bussing was fast and food brought out fast - maybe too fast. But ordering drinks/wine was not able to keep up. I think just since super busy The price per person was $250 which I think is a bit pricey for the caliber. This was not with excessive ordering but wine pricing was a bit too high

First, we noticed the fresh and bright decor. Next, the live music. Beautiful young lady. Amazing voice. I didn’t catch her name, unfortunately. After looking at the menu (thank you for mocktails!) we settled on hushpuppies and fried green tomatoes for apps. Wow. The pimiento cheese and red pepper jelly went perfectly. We also ordered the fried chicken, strip steak, chicken sandwich, cucumber salad, greens, mac & cheese, and shrimp & grits (upgrade to cheddar, totally worth it). Everything was absolutely amazing. Portion sizes were big enough that we all shared bites and still each took to-go boxes home. Mel was outstanding. She had such a great personality and made sure we were well taken care of. The only thing we would change was to wait to place our entree orders until after we finished the appetizers. The food came out so fast that we weren’t finished with the apps. But it was all good. We will definitely be back!!

My partner and I dined here on Valentine's Day - the host was super friendly and the restaurant accommodated us when we were stuck in heavy traffic due to the snow. Omar, our server, was very nice and the service was great. The food came out quick and was soooo yummy! The spaghetti carbonara and chicken were so good! Would totally go here again :)

Wonderful pre-show dinner while sitting at the bar. The bartenders suggested a refreshing AF drink, and delectable choices from the menu. I even got a rose since it was Valentine’s Day!

Good attentive service, varied pub menu, at days end it packs !! Convenient loop location Enjoyed the fish & chips and draft Guinness Always consistent with food and service. Go once you’ll come back
