- JJonathanYorkshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFamily night out for start to Xmas. Easy to reserve table on internet, we turned up a bit early so went for a drink in bar. That was a little more noisier but not too bad. Shown to table in the ‘Snug’ where it was much quieter and food orders taken quite quickly. Food comes owed to order so took a while to arrive but it was worth it, the food was piping hot, well presented and tasted lovely Will definately go back againMore infoThe Fat Badger YorkPrice: Moderate• British• York•4.5
- EElaineLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoCalamari oily. Lasagne stodgy as 2 sheets stuck together and overcooked. No seasoning either. Husband enjoyed his meal though. Had to ask twice for a couple of things. Meals not confirmed before walking away and had to amend something quickly. Felt a bit rushed. Overpriced in places too.More infoRiva Blu Italian Restaurant & Bar - HullPrice: Moderate• Italian• Hull•4.6

From the warm welcome on arrival, the friendly and attentive staff to the cosy and historic surroundings, it was the perfect setting to what was probably going to be one of my most memorable dining experiences. We both ordered the fabled "steak n ale" pie with a side of cauliflower cheese. We deliberately abstained from a starter so that we would be able to fully appreciate the main. We were not disappointed ! The pie, gravy, garlic mash and side were sublime. We will be back.More infoGuy Fawkes InnPrice: Expensive• British• York•4.4
