- TTimWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoSecond visit to Bookbinders in Richmond (although we live 100 miles away). The food is outstanding. Best filet I’ve ever had without exception. Our waiter, Timothy, is a perfect example of the professionalism one expects in a fine restaurant. He made the experience thoroughly enjoyable and memorable. We’ll be back!More infoBookbinder's Seafood and SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Richmond•4.8
- MMichaelVirginia •11 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was our first experience at Perry's. We received a flyer in the mail saying seniors can enjoy a 3-course meal if ordering before 6 p.m. We made our reservation for 5:30. We normally eat at 7. We expected the restaurant to be empty and were surprised at how many patrons were already there at 5:30. Because we said it was a special occasion (anniversary), rose petals were spread across our table when we were seated. Almost immediately, warm bread and butter were delivered to our table. Service was excellent. My husband ordered the pork chop which was absolutely delicious...largest pork chop we've ever seen. The server carved it (bone in) at our table. I had the filet mignon and I thought his chop was more tender than my steak! Husband got the Caesar salad and I had the wedge...both excellent. He got the roasted vegetables (tasty) and I got the creme brulee as my third option and we shared both. Service was top-notch. Food was excellent. My only negative comment would be the ambiance, which was somewhat lacking, but the meal was so good...no big deal!More infoPerry's Steakhouse & Grille – Richmond - Short PumpPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Dumbarton•4.6

- SsteveRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Parterre Restaurant in downtown Richmond. Located in an historic area and building, the ambiance was pleasant with enjoyable music at an appropriate volume as background. We started with delicious fried oysters as an appetizer for the table, complemented by beverages of choice from a nice selection. Our dinners included; a steak, which our daughter said was delicious; an autumn salad with shrimp, which was also raved about; a burger that our son stated was one of the best he’s had; and my shrimp and grits with andouille, which also rated as one of the best I’ve had (and I thoroughly enjoy shrimp and grits!). Our server had the perfect balance of great service and genuine friendliness, while being unobtrusive. We highly recommend Parterre and will come back when e are in Richmond.More infoParterrePrice: Moderate• Southern• Richmond•4.6
