Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Spencer

An oldie but goodie. Hadn’t been for years and wondering why cause it’s just a fantastic place- great ambience, really good food, perfect wine choices.

We had the best date night at Mariposa! The location was great with lots of parking options nearby. Walking in we were wowed by the high ceilings and fun and interesting decor. Our server was personable and prompt, seemingly dropping in at the perfect time to refresh our drinks or for us to order the next corse. We ate there prior to seeing a show at Blumenthal (a short 5 minute well lit walk) and our server understood our time constraints and we got to the show with time to spare. From the food runner to the manager, everyone had smiles on their faces and they truly appreciated us patronizing their lovely restaurant. We will certainly be back!

Great food, great service. One of the most relaxing enjoyable lunches we have had in a long time.

The Fig Tree is always a delight. We had a rather large party and they were so accommodating and even made changes to our tables/room while we were there. The food and wine are always a treat, as well as the service! I highly recommend The Fig Tree for any special occasion or business dinner.

Greta prep and attention to detail of seafood and steak. Service was attentive and refined. Constructive points salmon in poke could have been trimmed better from connective tissue. One chair at table had not been cleaned, seat had some dried sauce, and chairs were not comfortable.
