Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in River North (Chicago)

Have been here many times, always like it. Food is good, many choices, service was good, no issues. However, I absolutely hate when you are told the minute you walk in that you have to leave in 2 hrs. If management reads it - please stop this annoying practice. My bill is usually $350-450 and never spend more than 2 hrs but have some respect for your customers who pay your bills. Do not insult your old good customers.

had the pleasure of dining at Chicago Cut Steakhouse, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. One of the standout features of this restaurant is its unique location. Our server, Matt, truly elevated our visit. He was not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly informative about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, and his attentive service made us feel right at home. It’s always a delight to be attended by someone who is passionate about their work and knows how to make guests feel special. Now, let's talk about the food—simply delicious! Every dish we ordered was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality. The flavors were exceptional, and each bite was a pleasure. Whether you’re a steak lover or prefer other options, Chicago Cut has something for everyone. Overall, my experience at Chicago Cut Steakhouse was outstanding. Love it here! Our first round of pita was cold and they quickly fixed that. The classic hummus is very pricey and there wasn’t much in the bowl but it is so good! The almond and garlic spread is superb. Waiter was awesome.

The food was fabulous. We had the veal meatballs, the arugula salad and our wood fired pizza was 1/2 the specialty Kale and 1/2 the Funghi - which was exceptional. The ambiance was so Italian Restaurant. Perfect. And the service, the service was EXTRAORDINARY!! Pam served us and from the recommendations to her personality to the timing - wonderful. And her table attendant - Denny - was incredibly prompt and didn't miss a thing. We will be back.

Food, drink and service were exceptional! First time diners here and can’t wait to come back. You will not be disappointed.
